I guess this must mean "born in the air." The other spelling, AIRBORNE, refers to those who are carried (borne) by air, but then dropped by parachute. I do like the fact that Ollie has a good, tight body position, with his his arms crossed in front, to prevent tangling of the parachute's cords when it opens.
